the name of the act is the Privacy Act, which was later on changed to the Privacy Amendment.
it is there secure information of an individual, it also controls the amount or type of information released any 0ther individual. it is also there to help companies, networking site,etc, to comply with Act, it is there as a guideline in which they should follow, in order to secure the identity and privacy of an individual.
2. the information privacy principles.
4,11,10 are the most important, for networking websites. all the points refer to the most important of all the principles, each point refers to a specific part of the Privacy Act. 1. the manner and purpose of collection, 2. collecting information directly from individuals, 3. collecting information generally, 4. storage and security, 5-7 access and amendment, 8-10 information use, 11 disclosure.
